8/29/11 daily blog

Today in class we did transition. Then we got into groups to make a video on why our school is great. My group consisted of Zoey, Cesar, Jake, Kaycee, and Edwardo. It was a large group so it took a while to organize it all. Everyone knew what they were saying. We filmed outside because we felt like it gave a better vibe. Everyone helped out and gave constructive advice to make it better. We finished filming.

This is my first edited clip. I have already learned a lot about what to do and what not do do. It was a bit frustrating at first. With the help of class mates and Dr. A the excellent librarian and Teledramatic's art teacher i was able to finish my clip. I am proud of my self because the SBHS looks good in the video and I started and stopped the clip at the right times. Next time I'm editing a clip I need to remember the steps of getting the clip onto youtube. I am very excited to continue perfecting the process.
One the first day we were assigned to edit our videos I mostly observed what my partner Jose was doing and tried to help him. Seeing him go through the entire process helped me out when I was doing it my self. I did face a little bit of trouble when trying to make the clip eligible  for internet post.(:

aug 23, 2011 class reflection

Today in class I added Dr. A to my blogger account. Then every one got into pairs with people at their tables to work at computers. Jose and I shared a computer and I tried to help him edit his video. Also I tried helping Blanca out with her video  editing but was unsuccessful. By that time class was already over, I plan on editing my video next class.
